The Garden of Forking Paths, a widely consulted page about Borges in the net. Maintained by our friend Allen Ruch in New York.

San Telmo Foundation: The best-documented Borgesian site in the web. The Foundation is a private institution created in 1980 by Jorge and Marion HELFT. It has been active promoting argentine culture. Since 1995 the Foundation administers the large Borges collection belonging to its founders. The collection is a very extensive archive documenting the life and work of Jorge Luis Borges (1899 - 1986). It is curated by Nicolás Helft and includes manuscripts, letters, original photographs, books, magazines and publications, audio and video tapes and other documents. All these documents have been digitized so as to be easily available to scholars. Most texts have been indexed in order to facilitate research. It is the Foundation's primary goal to help and promote the study of Borges' work and make it still better known throughout the world.

Centro Cultural Cervantes. Exposición "Borges 100 años". A real masterpiece of technical and cultural savoir faire. You should need to download the program "Shockwave" to admire all its virtualities. Dont miss it!

Literatura Argentina Contemporánea: this magnificent site contains a special page about Borges. With texts. Dont miss it, even for other authors.

Borges Studies on Line: A new initiative offered by the Borges Center. Borges Studies on Line es an electronic supplement of Variaciones Borges, with a dynamic archive of academic articles on Borges.

¿Qué nos queda de Borges? Accounts on Borges by Susan Sontag, Julian Barnes, Antonio Tabucchi, Ernesto Sabato, Beatriz Sarlo, Adolfo Bioy Casares, Harold Bloom, Umberto Eco, Ricardo Piglia, María Esther Vzquez plus the possibility of listening to Borges's voice. A very beautiful (and quite slow) page, presented by Clarín.

The Secret Books: A dialogue between photographes and some Borges texts. A marvelous page of art by Sean Kernan.

The Temptation of Saint Anthony: The Zahir (Short Story. Author difficult to be identified): "My friend Borges once described a Zahir, which in Buenos Aires in 1939 was a coin, a ten-centavo piece, with the letters 'N' and 'T' and the numeral '2' scatched crudely in the obverse..."

Special Borges links proposed by Allen Ruch.

Hypertextuality in Borges. Site by Daniel Garcia linking hypertext in Borges's poem "Otro poema de los dones".

Hugh Dichmont: Taking initial inspiration from Borges’ story ‘The Library of Babel’, Hugh Dichmont has translated the final pages of American and English fiction (taken from Penguin’s ‘Classics’ range) into Spanish and back to English several times, using a free online translation website. Revealing the fragility and complexities of language, this process results in an erosion of meaning, through which these seminal texts lose their integrity.
