Puga y Gallach

“El Emporio y Despacho de Bebidas Puga y Gallach”. According to Martino in his notes on Bioy Casares´diary, Rodolfo de Puga was the editor of Tit-Bits, a weekly magazine founded in 1909 which specialized in comics and “folletines” (serial novels). “Gallach” also appears in “Gallach y Gasset”. The Gallach publishing house was located in Barcelona and it mostly published technical manuals. Gallach was one of the managers of Calpe publishing, where Ortega y Gasset was the design editor. Apparently, they had a horrible relationship; therefore, Gallach quit in 1922. (Mentioned in Bustos Domecq story.)
